Yesterday marked the open of the Georgia Bulldog football season, an at-home game against UL-Lafayette (and, yes, every time I saw Lafayette I thought of True Blood). The Bulldogs were in good form and were exciting to watch, winning the game 55-7. We all enjoyed a perfect fall day with cloudless blue skies as we continued this family tradition for our children. Then it was to take our seats under the beautiful Athens sky and enjoy the Redcoat Band and the players take the field for the first game of the year!

After the game we brought the kids to ring the chapel bell and walk through (or in Little Man's case climb) the historic Arch.
Oh and the drive home was VERY quiet, as was our evening...
